This fabulous half-day tour takes you to know the most important sites around the Cusco city:
- The lavish Inka temple of Qorikancha, also known as the Temple of Santo Domingo.
- The impressive platforms and temples of the great ceremonial fortress of Saqsaywaman.
- The enigmatic rocky promontories and labyrinthine roads of Qenqo amphitheater.
- The large stone terraces, walls and stairways of the military fortress of Pukapukara.
- And the mysterious platforms and fountains of the temple to the water of Tambomachay.
Start your adventure in the majestic Plaza de Armas de Cusco (main square), where the ancient history of the high Andean culture still survives. Then, go down a narrow street with stone walls towards the Inka temple of the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun).
After having delighted your senses with the most impressive and extraordinary samples of high Inka architecture. You will board our tourist bus heading to the Saqsaywaman Archaeological Park, where you will visit the archaeological sites: Saqsaywaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay.
