This is a cheaper alternative compared to the train, to visit the Inka city of Machupicchu. A bus trip will take you from the city of Cusco, to the place called Hydroelectric, in the district of Machupicchu. From this point you will walk an approximate time of 2 and a half hours until you arrive the Machupicchu town (also called Aguas Calientes).

The path is flat, following the railway line, with few slopes. This tour allows you to enjoy the vegetation of the high jungle.

On the second day, after visiting the Inka city of Machupicchu, you will walk back to Hydroelectric, where you will find your transportation to return to the city of Cusco.

This route is recommended for people who like to walk and be in contact with nature.
